In Russia this band has an iconic status.

The Band was formed in 1988 by school friends. the band's nam which means The King and the Jester , was adopted in 1992, its previous name was Bureau.

Popular Russian rock band from S. Petersburg, led by Sergey "Shnur" Schnurov. 

Leningrad worked in Gypsy punk style and become notorious for vulgar lyrics and celebration of drinking.

Kino was a Soviet rock band formed in Leningrad in 1982. The band was headed by Viktor Tsoi, who wrote the music and lyrics for almost all of the band's songs. Over the course of eight years, Kino had released over 90 songs spanning over seven studio albums, as well as releasing a few compilations and live albums.

Viktor Tsoi died in a car accident in 1990. Shortly after his passing, the band broke up after releasing their final album, consisting of songs that Tsoi and the group were working on in the months before his death.

In the spring of 1982, they began to perform at the Leningrad Rock Club and met with the influential underground musician Boris Grebenshchikov. It was around this time that they finally changed the band's name to Kino. The name was chosen because it was considered short and "synthetic," and the band members took pride in that it had only two syllables and was easy to pronounce by speakers all over the world.

Splean (Russian: Сплин) is a popular Russian rock band, formed in Saint Petersburg in 1994.
Since then, they have remained one of the most popular rock bands in Russia.

Lead singer Alexander Vasilyev and bass guitarist Alexander Morozov decided to form a band together while working in "Buff" theatre as stage workers. Later, keyboardist Nikolay Rostovsky and other musicians joined them. Despite the risk of losing their jobs, they began recording their first album “Pyl'naja byl”. In 1996, the band began to play concerts in Moscow and other cities.

The band won several Nashe Radio "Chart Dozen" awards, including Best Song and Chart Leader for "Orkestr" in 2015 and Best Album for Obman Zrenija in 2013
